The Titans Can't Do What They Say They're Built to Do

The Titans are 0-5 and the things they say are foundational to their success aren't showing up.They say game situations are preventing them from running the ball and rushing the passer the way they want. But shouldn't those supposed strengths be helping them avoid the situations that take them away?On this edition of The Paul Kuharsky Podcast: • The Titans' circular explanation for why their foundational principles aren't producing results • Ridiculous statistics that illustrate just how bad things have gotten • Costly defensive additions John Franklin-Myers, Alontae Taylor and Cor'Dale Flott aren't delivering • Cam Ward on faith and Carnell Tate on producing one week and disappearing the next • A father's letter to Amy Adams Strunk about his son wanting to become an Eagles fan • Are Titans fans still furious, or are they becoming apathetic? • How good would Jeremy Walls have to be to justify hiring him with a discrimination lawsuit pending? • Burke Nihill and accountability within the Titans…

Texans 26, Titans 3:An Absolute Joke

The Titans talked about their mantra — “Own the South” — leading into their game against the Texans. Then against another 0-4 team from their division they lost by 23 and looked absolutely horrible. The offensive line that has been reliable let Cam Ward get beat up. They turned the ball over twice again. A defense forced field goals for a bit, then gave up TDs. They own nothing but a terrible record and little promise. Sponsored by Edley’s BBQ and Brown and Brown Realty.

The #Titans mess gets messier

The newest round of front office firing were a final straw for me with regard to Burke Nihill. But Positive PK is likely to give us a different spin on him and the 0-4 Titans. Tennessee won’t likely run well against the Texans, which means this game will be more on Cam Ward. The Cedric Gray mystery, “own the South”, Robert Saleh on the pace of improvement, and all your questions. Sponsored by Edley’s BBQ and Brown and Brown Realty.

Ravens 24, #Titans 18

The Titans fell to 0-4 with a loss in Baltimore, keyed by two bad turnovers. They did reasonable work slowing Derrick Henry, but got beat by explosive plays on three quick TD drives by the Ravens in the first half. That they see Tyler Huntley instead of Lamar Jackson in the second half didn’t matter. And Declan Doyle’s play calling targeting Zay Flowers against Titans linebackers topped Robert Saleh.
